These terms apply to bookings and stays at Mubanga Lodge, Banza Quitel, Ícolo e Bengo, near Luanda, Angola ("the Lodge", "we", "us"). By sending a booking request or staying with us, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

Bookings & Reservations

• A request sent through this website or by WhatsApp is not a confirmed booking. Our team confirms availability and the exact rate with you directly.
• A 50% deposit secures your dates once we confirm; the balance is paid at check-out.
• All stays require a prior reservation, we do not accept walk-ins.
• You get our best rate when you book direct.

Rates & Payment

• Rates are per room, per night, in Angolan Kwanza (KZ) and include your chosen meal plan at the lakeside restaurant.
• Drinks are charged separately and settled on the day.
• Children are charged per the rates on our Rooms page; an extra bed may be added where available and confirmed at booking.
• We confirm accepted payment methods (bank transfer, Multicaixa Express, mobile money, cash) when we confirm your booking.

Cancellations & Changes

• Cancel 5 or more days before check-in: 50% of the deposit is refunded.
• Cancel within 2 days of check-in: the deposit is non-refundable.
• Date or room changes are subject to availability; please contact us as early as possible.

Check-in & Check-out

• Check-in is from 3:00 PM; check-out is by 12:00 PM (noon).
• Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged on request, subject to availability.
• The minimum check-in age is 18. We may ask for valid identification on arrival.

House Rules

• All meals are taken at the restaurant; no outside food or drinks.
• No pets.
• Smoking is permitted in outdoor areas only.
• Pool towels are not provided, please bring your own.
• Children are the responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times, including at the pool and by the lagoon.

Use of Facilities & Liability

Guests and day visitors use the pool, gardens, lagoon and activities at their own risk. To the extent permitted by law, the Lodge is not liable for loss of or damage to personal belongings, or for injury arising from the misuse of facilities or failure to follow safety guidance from our team.

Day Visits & Events

Day visits, group stays, weddings and events are arranged in advance and confirmed by our team, and may be subject to their own terms and quotes shared at the time of booking.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Angola.
