How do I make a reservation?
The easiest way is to message us on WhatsApp, or send a booking request through this website. Please note: a request is not a confirmed booking. Our team will check availability and confirm with you directly by WhatsApp or phone, and a 50% deposit then secures your dates. All stays require prior reservation; walk-ins are not accepted.
Can I visit for the day without staying overnight?
Yes. The pool, gardens and our lakeside restaurant are open to day visitors as well as overnight guests. Day passes and lunch bookings can be arranged, message us on WhatsApp with your date and group size and we will confirm what is available.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 12:00 noon. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged on request, subject to availability.
Do the rooms have a kitchen?
Our Cabanas and Suites do not have private kitchens. All guests dine at our much-loved lakeside restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Casas Familiares (Family Houses) also use the restaurant for meals.
Is Mubanga Lodge suitable for families?
Absolutely. Our Casas Familiares sleep up to 5 guests across two bedrooms and are designed for families. The grounds, pool and gardens are wonderful for children.
Can I host an event or wedding at the lodge?
Yes, Mubanga Lodge is a popular venue for weddings, sundowners and private events. Contact us directly to discuss your requirements and we will put together a tailored proposal.
How far is the lodge from Luanda?
We are approximately 56 km from the city centre. Airport transfers can be arranged on request, message us ahead of your arrival.
